Kaitlin

Kaitlin is a Creative Arts Psychotherapist in Pennsylvania with experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Kaitlin specializes in using creativity to help children and adolescents work through emotional challenges and to heal from traumatic events. In addition to her work with children, Kaitlin has supported adults and families through the combination of
evidence based therapeutic interventions with compassion, validation, and active listening.

Kaitlin received her graduate degree from Pratt Institute in Creative Arts Therapy and Creativity Development where she cultivated a passion for clinical psychotherapy as well as holistic approaches to wellbeing. Kaitlin is a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with the Art Therapy Credentials Board. As a clinician, Kaitlin believes in finding a balance between challenging clients to examine their cognitive disturbances and develop healthy coping skills, while also utilizing a strengths-based and experiential approach. Kaitlin’s previous experiences in the field range from inpatient psychiatric rehabilitation, emergency youth shelter support, and family based mental health services. In addition to art therapy, Kaitlin utilizes her training in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) to help families and individuals increase attachment, emotional regulation, and develop healthier coparenting strategies. Kaitlin’s graduate thesis focused on Nature-Based Art Therapy and its uses in exploring self-identity, maternal identity, and professional identity.
