About Patti

Patti is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been serving the community for 15 years.

She is motivated to work with many types of clients, though particularly enjoys adults, and sees herself as a supporter and a guide. She has worked with individuals seeking Short-Term Solutions-Based Therapy, as well as people who prefer a more transformative therapy approach, one which requires an in-depth look into “the root causes” as a way to understand present day challenges. Then, she helps her clients use their new self-knowledge to develop lasting change.

Patti is certified as a Cognitive Processing Therapist and has additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

She has helped clients struggling with anxiety, caregiving challenges, codependency, coping skills, alcohol and drug recovery, grief, life transitions, low self-esteem, parenting challenges, PTSD, recovery from abusive relationships or general relationship issues, and workplace dynamics, as well as those simply seeking a sounding board.

On her personal time, Patti serves on the HOA board in her housing development. She also enjoys exercising with friends at bicycle and hiking clubs, spending time with her family, and researching aspects of 12 Step addiction and dysfunctional family recovery.

Please note that this therapist is an independent contractor. She is not an employee, partner, or joint venturer, agency, or fiduciary. She is self-employed, and contracted, on an as needed basis, to facilitate fee-for-service Outpatient Therapy at The Counseling and Wellness Center of Wyomissing. As such, she decides on her fee, as well as schedule.
