About Julie

Julie has always known she wanted to be a therapist. While experiencing a traumatic loss at an early age, she was exposed to therapeutic services for herself and her family. Julie was able to see, firsthand, the positive impact counseling can make when presented with some of life’s hardest hits. Julie’s knack is her ability to utilize her experience and expertise to create an authentic environment where self-exploration occurs and personal growth flourishes.

During sessions, you and Julie will collaboratively dive into your history, as it pertains to the issues for which you are seeking therapeutic support. Together, you’ll identify the source of negative patterns that may have once served you, but are now a hinderance to your personal growth and healthy connection to others. Julie will work with you to build strength and self-confidence through a deeper understanding of yourself, which will help you to forge a new path for a healthier tomorrow.

Julie obtained a BS from Widener University, and received a MS from Villanova in Community Counseling. She is will soon complete a second masters degree in Sex Therapy, and will continue her education by obtaining a Doctorate in psychology. Julie is trained in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychoeducational Therapy.
